Under the motto “Operation one book, one pen and teacher can change the world,” the project provided school materials, stationery, and learning support to pupils. Be The Light Foundation supported underprivileged children in Tiko with school bags, books, pens, and essential supplies for the 2024/2025 academic year. The outreach helped families prepare their children for school and gave students the confidence to start the year ready to learn.

COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT

The foundation organized a joyful Christmas celebration for orphans, offering a full day of activities, learning, and care. Children took part in a fun cooking workshop where they made chin chin, cakes, and pastries. The day continued with games, music, gift sharing, and donations of food and essential supplies to the orphanage. The event brought happiness, warmth, and a sense of belonging to every child present.

In 2022, the foundation visited the female inmates at Buea Central Prison under the theme “Spreading love to the female inmates.” The outreach provided food items, toiletries, and supportive conversations that uplifted spirits during the festive season. It was a reminder that compassion and dignity should reach every corner of our society, including correctional facilities.
