Access to quality education remains one of the biggest challenges for children in vulnerable communities. Many families across Africa face financial hardship, limited school resources and a lack of basic learning materials. At Be The Light Foundation (BTLF), we believe that education is the path to long-term change. When a child receives the chance to learn, they gain confidence, skills and a future filled with possibilities.

Our Education Support Program is designed to help children stay in school, perform better and grow into empowered adults who can uplift their communities. While our main operations are based in Cameroon, our impact continues to grow across Africa, including outreach in Senegal.

What We Offer

We work to remove the barriers that prevent young people from getting the education they deserve.

1. School Fee Assistance
Many children drop out of school due to financial difficulties. We step in to support families by covering part of the tuition costs or helping with exam fees to keep students in class.

2. School Supplies and Learning Materials
A child cannot learn effectively without the proper tools. We provide exercise books, textbooks, school bags, uniforms and stationery to reduce the burden on low-income families.

3. Scholarships for Outstanding Students
We offer scholarship opportunities to motivated students who have strong academic potential but lack the resources to further their studies.

4. Mentorship and Academic Coaching
Education goes beyond the classroom. Our volunteers guide students through mentorship sessions, career advice and personal development programs to help them grow both academically and emotionally.

5. Support for Schools and Teachers
We assist schools by supplying learning equipment, classroom materials or, where possible, improving school environments so students can study in better conditions.
